Origin
This Kazak rug is rooted in the hands of expert weavers of Afghanistan and depicts the cultural richness of the tribal art. All the design motifs, including the Crowning medallion and the geometric bands, reveal the historic Caucasian influence. It is hand-made and carries a story of its own as well as the spirit of authenticity to your home.
Materials
This rug is hand-woven and hand-spun on a 100 percent wool using natural pigments to guarantee depth and durability. It has a warm, textured feel underfoot as well as strong, quality wool. It is a piece made in traditional methods, so it is a sustainable object with a representation of ethical weaving traditions in Afghanistan.
Design
On a deep-red field, an octagon-shaped medallion of soft cream and blue takes pride of place, interrupted by stylized leaf or floral-like figures, and laterally bordered by tribal-like forms. The border repeats elements of blue, red, and navy diamond shapes, having structure and details in balance. A classic structure of power and balancing.
Craftsmanship
The entirety of this Kazak carpet is hand-tied with its knots. This makes the weave a firm one, with its quality being maintained all through. The purity of the motifs and accuracy of the pattern are testaments to the master of craft. It is a good investment and a lifetime asset because it is well-built.
Heritage
The Afghan Kazak carpets are famous because of their bold geometry and emblematic shaping. They combine the collaboration of the past and the present using art based on the Caucasian tribal motives. Possessing such a rug is to have a fragment of some traditional craft, as every aspect of it is a story of tribal identity, hardiness, and mastery of telling stories in wool.
A vibrant celebration of tribal tradition and color, this rug combines authenticity, resilience, and artistry to bring cultural charm to any room.
