Origin

This rug is woven in the traditional villages of Iran and northern Afghanistan, in the Kazak style and inspired by the Caucasus. Tribal weavers have received the techniques to incorporate patterns acquired over generations, and it is evident that every piece talks of the cultures with Armenian, Georgian, and Turkoman origins. Materials 

Made out of the best quality Ghazni wool and dyed with indigo, Madder root, walnut husk, and pomegranate skin. This rug is extremely vibrant and durable. The lanolin-rich wool provides the pile with softness as well as sheen, As it grounds intimate spaces and withstands everyday use.

Design 

This carpet has a symmetrical pattern of three large medallions in mild blue, cream, and red. Stylised horns, eight-pointed stars, and the tribal hook motifs puncture the red field. The design with multiple borders, ivory and deep navy guard with X-shaped tribal marks creates an effect of balance and has a framing effect.

Craftsmanship
