Origin

Produced by artisanal craftspeople in northern Afghanistan and woven in the classical Mumlook weave, after classical Mamluk court motifs. Every single detail, be it medallion or lattice, symbolises harmony, order and meticulousness. It is a cross-cultural aesthetic, in this case, medieval Egypt, shaped using the Afghan touch.

Materials

The rug is 100 per cent hand-spun Ghazni wool made in chemically free botanic-dyed colours, resulting in a superior, eco-friendly, high-quality output. The fine weaves and soft texture make it very comfortable underfoot, and the organic materials increase sustainability and result in a longer-lasting product.

Design
