Materials

This rug is based on hand-spun Ghazni wool that has lustre, durability, and smooth fibre. Its navy, teal and copper shades come courtesy of natural dyes made using indigo and walnut husk dyes as well as pomegranate peel. It has a sustainable, fade-resistant dyeing process that has a long-lasting vibrancy and matures beautifully as the garment ages.

Design

The central field of the runners is covered with the tall tree-of-life motifs encircled by vines, blossoms, and medallions in copper, ivory, and turquoise.
