Materials

Made of 100 per cent hand-spun Ghazni wool, this rug gains a natural lustre and strength of texture. It consists of wool that is soft and resilient at the same time. Colored in botanical inks using pomegranate peel, madder roots, walnut shells and indigo, the midnight black field and jewel-tinted details speak of luxury. Chemical-free, it is also long-lasting and sustainable.

Design

The dramatic black ground of the rug forms an aesthetic background to stylised trees, finely embroidered flowers and curving arabesques. Violent saffron, ruby red, silky ivory and dull turquoise play about the surface.
